Native Texan and Patriot:

Jamie received a K-12 education from the Bedford, TX public schools before attending Rice University in Houston. She went on to become Miss Texas, traveling our great state advocating for education excellence.

Later, she married a Navy fighter pilot, and together, Jamie and her husband Ben have three elementary aged kids.

Jamie feels the impact of the ideologically driven education establishment in a deep way. She has skin in the game and will relentlessly protect all our Texas children.

While at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, Jamie led education policy and advocacy efforts. While there, she frequently testified in front of the Texas State Legislature.
